NEWS FROM THE BOARD:  Thanks to every membership who bought a Draw Down ticket for the club.  Please remember the Club will be closed Friday night the 5^th.  Only members with Draw Down tickets will be allowed to use the Club House.  If you don’t have one please see a board member to buy one.  There are very few left.  This will be a great and fun filled event for the Club.  The event will start at 6:30 on the 5^th.

The Board has voted to prohibit “Smoking” in the dining room area of the Club during restaurant serving hours.  Please refrain from smoking while others are eating or being served.

Thanks to all who helped sod the greens.  It has been very successful and more volunteer work is being planned.  The Ladies have made several improvements to the course also, as well as buying a new Patio Set for the patio at the Club House.  We would also like to thank Max Hackworth, Pink Baltz, and all the other men responsible for getting the sewer project completed.  Also, a thank you to Gary Kerns @ WI for the tool storage unit for RHCC maintenance shop.

For all the hard work we say THANKS.

It is very important that our membership grows.  The Board will offer special incentives to members who recrute and sign up new members.

All comments and suggestions are welcomed at all times.

MGA NEWS:  The annual 3-Man Scramble will be held Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21.  Tee times will be 8:00AM and 1:00PM each day and the entry fee is $60.00 per person.  Please sign up early in the Pro Shop.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the following businesses who were sponsors in our recent 1-Man Scramble on April 22:  Flash Market; Tool Central; Sears; Bank of Pocahontas; First Community Bank; BanCorp South; and Hole-in-One Restaurant.  Let’s give them our support and patronage.  We would also like to thank the MGA members and RHCC members for their donations and time.

PRO SHOP NEWS:  The Pro Shop is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00AM to 6:30PM; closed Mondays.  The Pro Shop will be open Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.

Couples Golf will meet each Friday at 5:30PM.  Everyone come out and join in the fun.

POOL NEWS:  The swimming pool will open for the season on Saturday, May 27.  The pool hours are Monday through Saturday, 12:00PM to 6:00PM, and on Sunday, 1:00 to 6:00PM.  The new pool rules will be published in the near future.
