NEWS FROM THE BOARD:  We would like to personally thank the volunteer crew who came out to remove the pool surface.  The Board is now researching options and hope to have a surface down very soon and the pool ready by Memorial weekend.

The Board still needs volunteers for entertainment events.  Anyone interested in helping out, please contact any Board member.

The annual Kiwani’s golf tournament will be on Saturday, April 28^th, at 8:00am .

The NCAA National Championship Game will be Monday, April 2^nd.  Please come out and watch the game and fellowship in the bar.

Don’t forget our annual Draw Down event on Friday, May 4^th.  All Board members have tickets for sale; don’t miss out on your chance to win $5,000.00!

I would like to make a personal plea to all members to please come out and participate in every function at the club in every way possible.  The club could really use your support in this way.

LGA NEWS:  The Ladies’ golf season will begin Wednesday, April 4^th, at 10:00am .  The annual dues will be $15.00 and you may pay Aleene Warden, LGA President, or Betty Lindsey, Secretary/Treasurer, any time before or when the season starts.  If you have any questions please call Aleene at 248-9175 or Betty at 892-5190.  Tee times for April:  10:00AM -18 holes; 5:30PM -9 holes.

MGA NEWS:  The MGA committee is in need of volunteers for the May 19-20 Memorial 3-Man Scramble.  Please contact any Board member or the pro shop.

MONDAY NIGHT LEAGUE:  The men’s Monday Night League will meet on Monday, April 9^th, at 6:00pm in the bar.  Regular season play will begin on Monday, April 16.  Entry fees will be the same as in past years.  Contact Ron Johnson or Maynard Hall to sign up a team or answer any questions (892-8343)
