NEWS FROM THE BOARD:  Current full-time equivalent paying memberships as of January 26 is 187.  There will be no dues adjustment for March.  Your dues will remain at $145.00.

From the President:  As your 2007 President, in the midst of our membership level being at one of its lowest points ever, I want to stress to each of you how important it is to utilize the club.  I challenge each member on the roster to use the club more in 2007 that you did in 2006.  Make an effort to play a couple more rounds of golf per month, or to eat another meal in the restaurant.  Our participation in these areas is more important now than ever before.  I also want to challenge each of you to sell the club to those you know that are not members.  Tell them about the benefits and be proud of your membership.  Hopefully we can add some new members in 2007.  This club is a FANTASTIC value!!  I think we have gotten complacent and have forgotten how fortunate we are to have it.

The Board would like to extend a warm Thank You to Ryan and Michelle Cernosek for their hard work on the social committee.  They worked very hard to plan different events through 2006 for all members of RHCC.  We did appreciate their efforts.

Your Board is working very hard for you and anticipate a great 2007.  We’re looking forward to our Super Bowl party this month and our Draw Down event May 4^th.  Please come support these events.  We will be planning other events soon and if there are any suggestions, please contact one of your Board members.

LGA NEWS:  The LGA will meet at RHCC at 6:30PM on Wednesday, February 28^th, for the election of officers, planning of the 2007 golf schedule, etc.  Hope to see all of you there.

MGA NEWS:  The MGA will be having a meeting Monday, February 26^th at 6:30PM.  We need all golfers to attend.  Tournament leadership will be elected at that time and dues will be collected.  Handicaps for 2007 need to be paid in the pro shop before you can turn in scores this year.

RESTAURANT NEWS:  On Wednesday, February 14^th we will be having a Valentine’s Day “Dinner Special” at the restaurant.  Please call for reservations for the dinner.  Come out and enjoy a wonderful meal and a great Valentine’s Day.

ENTERTAINMENT:  Don’t miss the annual Super Bowl Party Sunday, February 4.  Everyone bring a dish.  We can begin to gather a couple hours before the game and we’ll party until closing.

Also, a reminder that the Draw Down will be on May 4.
