NEWS FROM THE BOARD:

Reservations for the month of October:

 October 1:  both dining rooms reserved for birthday party from 6:00PM until closing

October 8:  both dining rooms reserved for class reunion from 4:00PM until closing

 We want to congratulate our Black River Cup team who annihilated Walnut Ridge over the two-day tournament on September 17-18.  The beautiful Cup is in the bar and we are very proud of our 16 men who competed.

 We want to extend a very big thank you to the Women’s Golf Association for their generous donation of $2,000.00 for the Tractor.  We greatly appreciate their help.

 Beginning in October, we are adjusting the hours in the Pro Shop to open at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  If you have a special outing or need something early for a group please call Renee.

We are trying to organize some work days in October or November.  These will be mainly for painting the exterior of some buildings and the interior of our bathrooms on the course.  Anyone interested please let Renee know in the Pro Shop and we will make a list and organize into teams.  Chris Johnson has volunteered to head-up a team of ladies to paint the women’s rooms on the course.  We encourage anyone who has the time to sign up and we will call you when it is organized.
